I finally got the e-mail back, I got the position in polymer research. I'm really excited to start work. They already sent me all these meetings that I have to attend. Which I think will definitely suck, but getting paid to sit there and listen to people speak isn't a bad deal either. Only thing that sucks is that I have to be there every morning at nine, which involves me waking up much earlier than normal. Ugh. Oh well. This summer has been quite uneventful lately. I pretty much have done nothing but work. I've hung out with my wife and Angela a few times. So I guess I can't say I haven't done anything. I definitely had a long ass shift at work yesterday. 10 - 10 baby! At around 5:30, a lady came into the fitting room with her baby daughter and her young , about 7, son. Shay was working the fitting room last night and was not feeling well to begin with. Well, the woman gives Shay attitude and asked to use the woman handicap room so she could bring her baby in. There was a rolling rack in there packed with men's denim and Shay goes to move it out of the way. The weight of the denim causes the rack's top bar to collapse. Shay's quick ass response was able to catch the bar before it fell on the baby. In the process of catching the bar, Shay slices her thumb pretty deeply. Shay is holding a bar in her hand as her thumb is dripping blood on the floor. The woman then asks to use the men's handicap room. And goes in there. She never said thank you for saving her child's life. Nothing! I mean she is bleeding for this woman and she just gets even more irritated with Shay because she hasn't been able to try on any of her clothes yet. On top of that, she came up to me at the service desk to put a layaway on. After she is done being rude up there, she is ready to leave. She walks towards the door and her son takes the cart and said "I'm going to go put this back" and my manager sees this and said "Good for you." The mother than screams from the door, "Do you f*cking work here??? No! Get over here now before I smack the shit out of you." The kids stops pushing the cart and runs for the door. My manager and I look at each other all he could say was "you should always encourage kids to do the right thing..." I'm so glad that I will be leaving AJ Wright in exactly two weeks. I'm done dealing with some of the worst people ever. I mean, I will miss the ones I see all the time. But I will be there to visit. And I can go back there anytime I want if I need a job again. So it's all good. Since I seem to be on the biggest rant ever I would just like to say how much I hate Mrs. Kelly. Screw you woman! I've always hated that woman and now I reason to hate her a lot more! I don't even want to write why because I will have the urge to throw this laptop at her face! Well, I think that is enough venting for now. I think I"m going to go roast in the sun now and actually look like a pork chop instead of my pasty white self. Leave some love.
